Mother's Day has always been about celebrating and honoring the woman that gave birth to me. Seven years ago, I gave birth to a darling little girl and even still, Mother's Day was about MY mom. This year, with my mother adn grandmother in Heaven, I am firmly in a position where Mother's Day is all about me.
Music is an integral part of my everyday experience. I ALWAYS have music playing from New Age Instrumentals to NeoSoul to Gospel to ... You name it, I LOVE it. So, for this Mother's Day, I celebrate the mother within and dedicate this song to myself, my mother (who is the reason that I am the woman that I am) and all mother's.
